Our state was hit hard by the 2018 Floods. Being the emergency assistance release mechanism of the state itself, it was an urgent requirement to develop a video campaign that would appeal to even the people outside the state and nation to collaborate and raise funds for disaster management. Many members of our team were affected and estranged in the floods. Still, we geared up to brainstorm for a video that would make some change in the current situation.

Our challenge was to deliver on their objectives and amplify the reach to the maximum. Since social media was oversaturated with such requests and videos, it wasn’t easy to capture the attention of the audience. Our approach was to deliver something simple, direct and, yet resonates with the people around the world, especially the workforce and the Malayali Diaspora. We chose the medium to be English so that it would appeal to more people

The Result

CMDRF presence was enough to make people instantly take notice. So, pushing our boundaries, we delivered a brief, emotionally packed, appealing video. It was one of the most satisfying works for the team. The teammates coordinated and collaborated in the work, going to the extent of acting in it.
